Assassins Creed Origins as first AC game?

Hello,



I've not played an AC before although have some general gist of the story picked up over the years. I plan to play through all the non 2D/handheld ones other than the first at some point though. I just unexpectedly got Origins with a new HDD I bought, how is it as a jumping in point?
